A Christmas Tea

Mom came down and had a tea party for Emily the girls and I, while David took the boys out shopping. The girls and I really enjoyed it, I haven't had a tea party since I lived at home with my Mom and it was so much fun. The girls and Mom have tea parties all the time but this was Haileigh's first one and at first she really didn't know what to make of it but by the time she started eating she was having fun.

Christmas Day

My Dad, Mom and sister Emily came down and spent Christmas day with us, we had a ball. My mom and Emily had so much fun they stayed until Saturday, my Dad wanted to stay but he had to return to work on the 26th so he returned home late Christmas evening.

Aydein is teething and he bites on everything he can get his little hands on, so David is letting him bit on his top lip. I think he's also blowing on him as he's letting Aydein bit him (not sure but I thought it was cute).

David and I where trying for weeks to get this picture together, but one thing or another would come up. Either I was in the hospital or the kids where all over the place or the baby was so fussy we didn't even want to go there. So David and I decided we would what until Aydein got up for his first feeding at night, we know that he is always so happy after he sleeps and gets his belly full. So we got everyone ready and watched TV until the "PRINCE" woke up and got feed, mind you this was about 3am in the morning. It's amazing how the smallest person in the family can command such dominants over everyone around him.

My Sissy's Birthday

Emily has turned 32 this year, and every year when we where kids she always got jipped out of a traditional birthday party because her birthday is the 24th of December, but now every year she gets to celebrate her birthday with the whole family because no matter where we live we always get together for Christmas. My sister has grown into a very beautiful woman both in side and out and I love her very much. So Happy Birthday Emily!!

Aydein, needed me to play with him and I had to rap the presents for Christmas. So I got a box and a piece a chocolate and put him in the box and gave him the chocolate and he ate the chocolate and played by his self for about an hour. Thank God for CHOCOLATE!!!

Haileigh is 6 years old!!

Haileigh has turned six; it seems like yesterday when I met her. She was so cute even then (she use-to call me “Sweetie”). She has grown so much in the last three years from a toddler to a young lady. She is so busy, and she takes everything on full force. She’s a typical six year old that loves baby dolls. When I’m rocking Aydein she will get her Dora doll and rock with me, as she tells that her baby is sleeping already and I need to learn from her how to put a baby to sleep. So I tell her I’ll take her class if she learns from me how to put her clothes away, as she has says with her long drawn out voice “Mommy” and that’s the end of that, and she’s on to the next subject. But Haileigh has been a blessing in my life and I learn from her as much as she learns from me. Happy Birthday Baby from Mommy and Daddy!!

Haileigh started school this year and will be starting her second year of ballet, she loves to dance and sing. So I’m having her try out for a part in “Sound of Music” as the youngest sister (I can’t remember her name), I know she will do great! We have a dinner theater right down the street and they have a home school program there for children, we are just now getting involved with it. Laya is going to try out for a part in the show as well, while everyone else are taking there time and are very reserved about the idea. But I know that once they see how much fun Haileigh and Laya are going to have I know they will won’t to be involved in the next show as well.

Round Up Sunday in Bealeton, VA

My Father and Mother-in-laws’ had Round Up Sunday at there church last Sunday. We had so much fun, they had a grill going and we got to eat, ride horses, and jump on a moon bounce. They had games for the kids and cowboy hats for everyone that came, the kids had a ball!! The kids got to visit their Grandparents, aunt, uncle, cousins and there sisters. Even Aydein enjoyed his self until it got late and he was ready to go home and sleep, he doesn’t like to be away from his bed and his house. I really don’t know why, he’s just very much a home-body.

David’s first wife Janice’s mother has contacted us and wanted see Conner and Haileigh. I know she has seen Conner but I don’t think she has ever had a chance to meet Haileigh, I think it’s so good that she wanted to reunite with the kids. We meet her at my father-in-laws church in Bealeton, VA one Sunday and after church we went out to eat and took the kids to a park to play. Her name is Mary and she is such a sweet woman, she told me that all of my children are her grandchildren and she wants to keep up with everyone of them. I was very impressed by that statement, we talked and we got to know each other a little bit, after enjoying each other for so long it did get pretty late so we had to say good bye.

Well the kids really enjoyed her visit and we are making plans for her to come down for Thanksgiving to visit some more with us, and pray fully we will see her on Christmas. I really enjoyed our conversation and watching her play with the kids. I know that this will be a lasting relationship for years to come.

We got to see Shawn and her Family

We got to visit my sister-in-law before we left NC; they live at the Marine base there in Jacksonville. It was so nice to see her and her family again. My niece is so big now, Maya and Haileigh I think played the whole time we visited them at her house. Her husband Tony is home for right now but I think he said that he will be deployed in six weeks to Iraq for nine months. Please pray for Shawn and her family, it’s very hard being married to the military and having the government control the outcome of your family. I miss them very much and I plan on going back to NC very soon.

The had a Ball!! But all good things must come to an end.

The kids love the beach and have been at the beach almost every day with my parents, sister or David and I. We have gone to the Aquarium and the Pier with the kids but other than that, not much more. My Father treated my Mother, Sister and I to a massage at the “Inis Spa Spirit of the Island” and I in-turned treated David and my Father to one after enjoying the experience so much. David and Dad took Nico and Chris golfing and from what they said; on there return that the boys are pretty good, well it was there first time experiencing the frustrating sport so cuto’s boys. Me on the other hand can’t understand why someone would say; “I would love a relaxing game of golf” and end up coming home more frustrated then when they left. But that’s just me! Dad, Mom and Emily left today and headed back to MD, Mom has a math test she has to take on Saturday. So her vacation has consisted of cramming for this test, please pray for her as math is not her favorite subject and she needs this last math credit to graduate college. We visited a church down here on Sunday and really enjoyed it, so much so that the kids went back on Sunday night for there Teen Activity. We where going to return Wednesday night for there Church Fundraiser dinner and service but the baby was so fussy that I really was not looking forward to it. So Dad took all of us out for dinner and the food was great.

My Sister-in-law lives in NC with her Husband and Daughter, (who I haven’t seen in a year) have contacted us and we plan on visiting them before we leave for VA.

Bubby has settled down and has become once again a loveable baby boy, thanks to the bouncy seat. He slept peacefully the last night and has given us a chance to recuperate ourselves from the first couple of nights. We will be leaving for VA tomorrow and will be back to our normal routine God willing on Monday morning.

If you didn’t know David and I are in the process of getting our school accreditation with ACE, we have named the school “Saved by Grace Academy” and pray-fully this will save us money on books for the following years to come. We have taken on two more children under our school and they have brought us much joy in learning them and teaching them, God is so good to us. One of them is a High School student in 10th grade and the other is in Middle School 6th grade, and all of the kids get along so well. As you already know that David and I both work a full time job from home with United Health Care, God has allowed us to maintain our beliefs in raising our children separated from the world. Conner and Haileigh have started school at C. C. Wells in September and will be removed from the public school system at the third grade level. David and I both have come to an agreement that neither one of us, have the ability to teach the primary level basic’s that Conner and Haileigh will need so desperately to be able to functionally handle the work load of the ACE curriculum. So with God’s grace and prayers Conner and Haileigh will gain the much need skills for their future education. David and I are praying that there testing scores that we have them take each summer with ACE will allow them to come home earlier than the 3rd grade level via the public schools curriculum.

I have to start out by saying I apologize for the last couple of my blogs I have posted, after rereading them and noticing my usage of the English language with my grammar and vernacular I’m surprise you could even understand what I was trying to say. Please bare with me as I haven’t been getting more than 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night, and trying to keep up with everyone else has been taking it’s toll on me. We made it to the Beach

The kids got up with my Mother this morning around 6am and walked the beach today, they saw dolphins off the shore and of course no body had a camera.

Well we all got ourselves together and went to the beach yesterday, the weather was beautiful. Nice and warm and windy, we all had fun. David, Aydien and I stayed for about two hours while my Mother, Sister and Kids stayed almost all day. I think the older ones had more fun then anyone else, Conner and Haileigh where kind-of lost with out any beach toys. So David and I went to the local store and bought rafts and toys for them to play with. Now we can't get the kids away from the water.

Today like I said, they got up at 6am and went to the beach with my Mom, after taking her morning walk the kids returned with her and ate breakfast and as soon as they were done they were ready to return. We had to slow them down a bit because no one made their beds or washed there face or even brushed there teeth. They where not very happy but they did it.

My Mother wanted to go to the Turtle Rehab today, and after we got on the Internet and found the location and times, and drove to the Rehab we found out they were closed for the winter. So while we out Dad and Mom decide to go to the pier, and take pictures. Well the kids all were walking around with there lips poked out, but they survived. After paying a dollar EACH to enter the pier, we took our pictures and went home. Guess were the kids went, ya you know it, the beach. And even though it was to cold to get in the water for me anyways, the kids where haveing a ball. So thank the Lord for the little blessings He gives us.

Bubby is not happy!

Aydien is not having a good time, he's teething and running a low grade fever and every night he is so fussy. He's regressing, to when he had colic (HELP). Every night for the pass three nights David and I have been walking the floor with him. David I have to work as well on our vacation so we have become the walking undead. David and I kept going back and forth tiring to figger out what was different other than the fact we are not at home and we know that he is not good out of his element but, the only thing we can think of is the swing!! O' haul the SWING, so we went the Walmart to by another swing to add to our collection of baby stuff. The only swings they had was over a hundred and fifty dollars but thank the Lord, they had bouncy chair. The bouncy chair has saved us from the insane asylum (HeeHe). Today he has played in the chair and chewed on all of the accessories and seems to be happy, we will see tonight. Please pray for us, we may not need it as much as our children, parents and sister. I think they have been avoiding us in our undead state.

We made it all in one piece!!

We arrived at the house around 6pm and all of us where in one piece (Heehe). The evening consisted of located our sleeping arrangements and eating dinner. The kids where so exited about going to beach that I think that's all they talked about that night. But we celebrated Natural's and Haileigh's birthday with cake and ice cream and played Apples to Apples until 1am in the morning, we where all so tired we couldn't keep our eyes open.

We are off to North Carolina for a Week!!

My Mother and Father have organized a family trip for my Sister and my family (all 9 of us) to go to Topsail Island located in North Carlina. We haven't been on a family vacation since our family's reunion in 1999 to Kentucky, SO I'm very excited. Now we have gone to GA two Easters' ago to send my cousin and her two boys off to Japan to live with her husband (He's in the Navy). But Just our family have not been on a vacation in a long time. My mother is so good with keeping all of us together and headed in the right direction, but I guess that's what a mother is spouse to do. Well please pray that we all have safety driving, and that David and I don't go crazy on the trip down and back while we are couped up in the car with seven children for six hours. HeeHe.

Natural's 13 today!!

My baby girl is 13 today!! Natural is such a wonderful young lady, she works so hard in school. She has completed 7th grade with a 95.5 GPA and has started 8th grade. She wants to graduate when she is 16 so she can go to cosmetology school like her mother (it's she so sweet!!) and learn how to do hair. She said after she finishes with cosmetology school she wants to go into the service and go to school to learn a trade that will help people. God has blessed me with a wonderful and beautiful daughter. She helps David and I with the baby during the day and maintains an A average in school. I don't think I would have been able to do that at her age. I pray that God holds her in his hands and keeps her close to him for all of her days. She loves the Lord and wants to do his will in her life, if you know Natural you know she is very shy but when she goes street preaching you would never be able to tell it. Natural was born October 2nd 1995, I was only 20 years old and didn't have clue what I was doing at the time with my life. All I knew was that God had blessed me with a beautiful child. My daughters have brought so much joy to my life that I couldn't sit here and explain all that they have done for and to me in my life. Well I'm sending this off for my baby girl- Happy 13th Birthday baby!! Mommy and Daddy loves you.

Aydein is 3 months old already!!

Aydein is 3 months old already!! It seems like Aydein was just born, he has grown so much in the last three months that I really haven't thought about it until yesterday. Aydein was born 7 lbs and 13.5 oz now he is 15 lbs and 4 oz and ware's 6 to 9 month cloths. God has blesses us beyond our wildest dreams. Some days I don't feel it as much as others, you know with the long nights and the teething started already but over all I'm very blessed with my seven children.
